Classic Chimichurri

Ingredients

1/2 cup cilantro, roughly chopped
1/4 cup chopped parsley
1 jalapeño, seeds removed, roughly chopped
1 shallot, roughly chopped
3-4 garlic cloves
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
juice of 1 line
red pepper flakes
salt + pepper

Method

  1. Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor. Pulse until almost smooth. Taste and adjust seasoning, if necessary.

  2. Serve over steak, chicken, or veggies!
