World’s Best Banana Pudding

Ingredients

2 cups whole milk
1 3.4oz package instant vanilla pudding
1 3.4oz package instant banana creme pudding
1 quart heavy cream
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 14oz can sweetened condensed milk
1 box Nilla Wafers
Confectioners sugar to taste
5-6 ripe bananas, thinly sliced

Method

  1. Combine both pudding mixes in a large mixing bowl and whisk in the whole milk and sweetened condensed milk, ensuring there are no lumps. Set aside.

  2. In another large bowl, combine heavy cream and vanilla. Using a hand mixer, beat on high until stuff peaks form. Add confectioners sugar to taste.

  3. Add half the whipped cream into pudding mixture and gently fold together with a spatula.

  4. In your serving dish, layer the bottom with Nilla Wafers. Top with a layer of banana slices. Next, top w/ half the pudding mixture. Repeat layers one more time, finishing off with remaining whipped cream.

  5. Refrigerate at least 3 hours or overnight.
